CubeBot

A single-player co-op puzzle prototype game where you play as Blip, a robot attempting to escape a maze of doors to reach the exit of their ship. 

Blip can transfer their consciousness to an energy cube in the system mainframe to send power to open doors and turn off obstacles as they need - but can they pick up enough power to get through them all?

Move	WASD / Arrow Keys / Left Thumbstick
Switch between cube & blip	Space / Enter / Bottom Face Button
Reset level	Hold Space / Enter / Bottom Face Button

Navigate the maze of the ship by moving Blip around and picking up sparks. 

When you encounter a locked door (or other electrical obstacle), switch consciousness with the power cube, charge it in the station and find the power nodes to clear the obstacle.

CubeBot was created as a small week-long prototype game jam by "FreeDatBot Studios",  a two-man team of Andrew Freer and Sasi Datla, as a term 3 assignment at KPU ENTA in 2024.

The idea was to play around with switching control between two "characters" to solve puzzles using only directional keys and a single button.
